In the Oeste region, the capricious natural forms of the coastline are complemented by delightful, iodine-rich beaches, with fine, golden sands, such as S. Bernardino, Consolação, Peniche and Baleal.
Oeste’s coast area is distinguished by the high quality of the waters. Many beaches have been classified with a European blue flag and are served by modern structures, perfectly integrated within the landscape.
The freeways A8 (Lisboa-Leiria) and A15 (Óbidos – Santarém – A1) allow a rapid and simple access to the "Oeste" beaches.
